Sometimes it is about letting your hair down and just enjoying the moment. The residents host a wide variety of events from movie nights, trivia, barbeques and social events, just to name a few.
Grouping the apartments around pleasant landscaped courtyards enhances the village social atmosphere; the recreation area is equipped with two barbeques available for resident use.
Apart from the extensive activities available in the recreation room and the adjacent outdoor area there is a music room available which contains a piano and an area to play or practice a musical instrument. There is also a TV Lounge with VCR and TV + Foxtel along with a residents lounge providing free daily newspapers, internet access and cable television 24/7.
Besides exclusive use of the Villages facilities residents also have access to the recreational facilities on campus. These include basketball and beach volleyball courts.
The Village and University are on major bus routes and train line, providing access to local shops as well as the Central business district of Perth and Fremantle as well as the major regional shopping complex at Booragoon.
The office team or resident assistants will be happy to assist you with travel advice and sightseeing, entertainment arrangements.
