WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THIS APPLICATION PROCEDURE?

After you have successfully completed your application, you will be given an application number and password. Hold on to these! They will allow you to check on the progress of your application!

Updating your application : If you wish to update your application, please go to the "check status of application" icon on the application homepage. Here you will be guided through correcting your information. If you change your email address, it is very important that you advise us of this as soon as possible as we will use email to contact you.

RECEIVING AN OFFER

Places at the Village 2011 will be confirmed progressively from October 2010. Therefore it is important to keep your application information up to date so that we can contact you as soon as possible. Generally, applicants have between 7 and 10 days to respond. If the offer is not accepted within that time period then the applicant will go back on the waiting list.

We cannot guarantee you will receive an offer of your first choice particularly for ensuite and deluxe rooms as these are very popular.

Please note: Once you accept an offer it is very important that you return your documents to our office as soon as possible along with the payment of the deposit and residential fee. We do not hold a reservation for a room for any applicant who fails to pay these fees or complete all required documents. If payment is not received then the room is released to another applicant.

FAQ

What if I don't receive an early offer from Murdoch University for Study. Should I still apply to live in the village and/or accept my offer?

Absolutely. If you fail to receive a place at Murdoch university, we will refund your fees in full. Please note we do not refund the residential fee if you simply change your mind.

ARRIVALS & PICKUPS

Murdoch University provides an airport shuttle service for new international students that can take you directly from the airport to either your arranged temporary accommodation in the CBD or to Murdoch UV depending if you were offered on campus accommodation or off campus accommodation assistance.

BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE FROM HOME please make sure that you advise Murdoch UV of your arrival details by completing and returning the "ARRIVAL DETAILS FORM"  at least two weeks prior to your departure for Perth. 

Please ensure that you return the completed form direct to Murdoch UV (Fax, email and postal information is shown on the form itself -preferably by fax or email).
