APARTMENT TYPES
Murdoch University Village provides accommodation for 836 residents housed in over 170 self contained, self-catering flats. The Village is set on 3 hectares of land with Village South containing the original flats grouped around pleasant, landscaped courtyards. Village North contains three newly constructed, modern contemporary styled unit complexes completed in 2009.
Dependent on type, each flat houses a maximum of 8 residents. Buildings in Village South are no more than 2 storey, with each storey containing one flat. The flats in Village North are located on four floors. All flats are fully furnished. Most students have their own single room, but some students choose to share one of 20 double rooms (twin share) the Student Village has to offer.
All apartments have a communal kitchen containing a stove/oven, refrigerator/s, and dining/common area with table and chairs and lounge chairs.
All rooms are provided with the following, for each occupant:
• Single Bed
• Desk
• Desk Chair
• Bookshelf
• Wardrobe
• Computer port (internet access)
• Rubbish bin
• Curtains
• Heater (*Double rooms have one heater for two occupants)
There are now seven types of room accommodation available at Murdoch University Village. The differences between the various room types and the layout of various flat types are as follows:
VILLAGE SOUTH (ORIGINAL VILLAGE ROOMS)

CLEANING TIPS
To keep tiles, basins and baths shining and to help prevent limescale and dirt building up between cleans - use furniture polish.
